Automation Technician Certificate Program
   

The Automation Technician program provides an introduction to industrial automation including digital electronic, process control and programming of PLCs, robotics and SCADA systems. The program examines applications and examples of automated manufacturing systems including both the theory and function of digital and industrial electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics, robotics systems, digital programming languages and alarm management. No background in automation is required.

Program costs are $1,780 or $60-$90 per module.

Electric Vehical (EV) Technician Certificate Program

The Electric Vehical (EV) training program is intended to address a global need for people who are skilled in diagnosing, servicing and repairing high voltage EVs and residential & commercial charging stations. The program has been developed for adult learners pursuing training through independent study. It's suitable for automotive technicians, electricians or anyone interested in the rapidly expanding sector of EVs and charging stations. No background in auto mechanics or electronics is required and there are no post-secondary academic prerequisites, so anyone can get training in this rapidly growing industry.

Program costs are $1,750 or $90 per module.

Electromechanical Technician Certificate Program

The Electromechanical Technician Certificate program provides a complete introduction to electronics and electromechanical systems. This program is often of interest to people who want to study electronics with an emphasis on mechanical systems, for example someone coming from a millwright background. The program covers mechanical topics outside of a typical electronics program, like industrial control devices, DC and AC motors and control circuits, transformers, analog and digital transducers, industrial process control and PLCs.

Program costs are $1,760 or $60 per module.

Electronics Technician Certificate Program

The Electronics Technician (ET) Certificate program provides flexible, skills-based training in electronic devices and theory. It has been developed for adult learners pursuing basic technician level training through independent study, specifically students who cannot attend college full-time because o work or family commitments. No electronics background is required and there are no academic prerequisites, so anyone can get training in this rapidly-growing industry. The ET program is an award-wining education program that consists of 24 modules of interactive curriculum using text, video, audio, 2D and 3D animations and laboratory simulation software. The program covers an introductory curriculum in electronics equivalent to a two year college diploma. This computer-based multimedia program includes pre-tests, interactive exercises, sample exams and online technical and tutorial support to help prepare you for online computer-based final exams.

PLC Technician Certificate Program

The Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Technician training program introduces the concepts of PLCs and focuses on the practical applications of using them in a plant or manufacturing system. The training is designed for students, with little or no background in PLCs, to make a safe and quick start in getting to know the fundamentals of PLC programming.

Program costs are $1,700 or $70 per module.

Robotics Technician Certificate Program

The Robotics Technician (RT) program provides an introduction to industrial robotics and explains how they are used in plants or manufacturing systems. The primary focus of the program is on automated manufacturing processes, the role of robots within those processes and all related support equipment.

Program costs are $1,570 or $90 per module.
