WSC students have access to a strong base of scholarship resources offered through the WSC Foundation. Over two million dollars from over 45+ different scholarship funds are awarded annually.
2023-2024 AwardSpring Scholarship Application - OPENING OCT. 10th Application will automatically apply the student to WSC internal scholarships that they are eligible for based on a wide variety of factors such as residency, major, GPA, etc.. Student will need to register an account if they have not created one before. It is not the same as the Campus Connection log in. Priority Deadline is May 1, 2023. Final deadline is August 31, 2023.
2023-2024 Housing Scholarship
- Regional Housing Scholarship will cover up to $1,000 for the Fall 2023 and up to $1,000 for the Spring 2024 academic semesters. Students inside the Williams, Regional, AAA (WRA) qualified counties will be eligible.
- Non - Regional Housing Scholarship will cover up to $900 for the Fall 2023 and up to $900 for the Spring 2024 academic semesters. Students outside the WRA qualified counties will be eligible.
Both the 2023 Regional and Non-Regional Housing Scholarship is available to all qualified graduates regardless of year. There is not an application for this scholarship. Recipients will be notified of their award status when the student has had a successful move-in to Frontier Hall confirmed by the Housing Director. Failure to meet any of the terms or conditions listed below will result in ineligibility for and or loss of this scholarship.
Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver is to provide educational opportunities to students from but, not limited to cultural, racial, or ethnic groups which has been historically under-represented. All applicants applying for the Cultural Diversity Tuition waiver must complete all parts of the essay questions that are a part of the application. If awarded this scholarship the applicant must commit to joining the Cultural Diversity Club at Williston State College and attend at least two meetings, help with one fundraiser, and one event each semester during the time period that the waivers are being awarded, and maintain in good academic standing. Priority Deadline is May 1, 2023. Final deadline is August 31, 2023.
WSC Student Ambassadors are a select group of students who interact with prospective students, parents, alumni, and the community to recruit. As official representation of WSC, this position is held in high honor. Members will represent students' leadership in an articulate manner, promote the positive image of WSC, and respond to the college's needs.
WSC Student Senate is an advocate for the WSC student body and acts as a liaison for students to the administration, alumni, state and community. Student Senators are a select group and are official representatives of WSC that are held high in honor. Members represent student leadership in an articulate manner, promote the positive image of WSC, and respond to the student body and college's needs.
WSC Teton Activity Board (TAB) brings new and exciting events to WSC. Members offer the WSC student body opportunities for involvement by developing, planning and executing entertainment, activities, and personal enrichment possibilities. They themselves gain experience in planning and running new and innovative events for their peers.
