Community
At WSC, we believe that an important part of your college education and experience happens outside of the classroom.
Through WSC Student Life and various student clubs and organizations, an array of concerts and events are held on campus. You can work out at the Williston ARC - a world class fitness facility - or catch a Teton game in the Well or at the Raymond Family Community Center. Each of these venues enrich campus life.
Even more opportunities for fun exist off campus and in the Williston community. Blocks from campus is Downtown Williston which includes local shops and dining and hosts various seasonal events like the Main Street Market, Holiday Stroll, and Summer Nights on Main.
The surrounding countryside offers unique opportunities for hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing, hunting, and one of the best public golf courses in the nation. Once explored by Lewis and Clark, this place where the Missouri and Yellowstone rivers meet, is dotted with reminders of North Dakota’s rich history, including restored Fort Buford and Fort Union.
From concerts to festivals to 11 park and recreational areas throughout town, the Williston area is a regional center for business and play, history and development, fun and adventure.
