Medical Assistant

Complete in ~1 year • Certificate

Program Focus:

  • Clinical & administrative skills (vitals, exam support, EHR)
  • Patient care, professionalism, and confidentiality (HIPAA)
  • Practice-readiness through labs and real-world experiences

Careers:

  • Medical Assistant (Certified)
  • Clinic/Physician Office Assistant
  • Patient Care Technician • Medical Office/EHR Assistant

Certification: Eligible to sit for a national Medical Assistant certification exam.

Add-On Certificate: Phlebotomy (optional) — available as an additional short certificate to stack with Medical Assistant.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Complete in 1 semester • Certificate

Program Focus:

  • Emergency response and patient assessment
  • Stabilization & transport for medical and trauma calls
  • Hands-on skills labs with supervised field experiences

Careers:

  • EMT • Emergency Response Technician
  • Emergency Room Technician
  • Fire/Rescue or First Responder teams

Certification: Preparation for the National Registry EMT (NREMT) exam.
