The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a system of survey components that collects data from nearly 6,700 US institutions. IPEDS collects institutional-level data on enrollment, retention, graduation, charges, faculty, staff, and finances. These data are used at the federal and state level for policy analysis and development; at the institutional level for benchmarking and peer analysis; and by students and parents, through the College Navigator to aid in the college search process.
Community College Survey of Student Engagement
The Community College Survey of Student Engagement's (CCSSE) Community College Student Report is administered every other year and provides information on student engagement, a key indicator of learning, retention, and quality.
ACT Freshman Profile
The ACT Class Profile Service provides a comprehensive summary of a college's ACT-tested entering freshman class to help analyze trends and improve enrollment planning.
Campus Quality Survey
The Campus Quality Survey (CQS) is a unique instrument that uses the basic structure, format, and criteria of the Annual Presidential Award for Quality. Each survey item relates to one of eight quality elements and the data provides more specific information about certain aspects of WSC.
Equity in Athletics
Each year, WSC compiles athletic data for the Equity in Athletics Data Analysis as required by the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) by all co-educational postsecondary institutions that receive Title IV funding (i.e., those that participate in federal student aid programs) and that have an intercollegiate athletics program.
Graduate Opinion Poll
WSC’s in-house Graduate Opinion Poll is used to determine graduating students’ level of satisfaction with 23 major service areas.
