Williston State College to continue remote work/ learning October 26
Posted: Oct 25 2023
WILLISTON, N.D. – In light of ongoing weather developments and forecasts, to ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff, Williston State College will be continuing to remote work for staff and remote learning for faculty and students, Thursday October 26, 2023.
This precautionary measure comes as a response to the tracking of weather models, which indicate potential for significant snow accumulation and hazardous road conditions in the region.
Essential campus services, such as residence halls, campus security, campus services, and food service will remain open.
If snow amounts match or approximate predictions, those who study or work at Williston State should anticipate that facilities staff will need time to remove snow from campus sidewalks, roads, and parking lots.
We will continue to monitor ongoing weather developments and decide at the necessary time for reopening of classroom learning and office hours for Friday, October 27.
