Williston State College sees increase in students this fall
WILLISTON, N.D. - Williston State College has just released their official Fall 2013 Census data and things are looking good. Headcount is up from 808 last fall to 909 making for an 11.11% increase. Scheduled credit hours and full-time enrollment are also up by 9.35% each.
"We're very pleased with the increase," said Kayla McKeil, Director for Marketing. "Williston is growing and that means more people, but more people don't always mean more students. I think our increase can be contributed to our hard-working faculty and staff as well as the incredible financial support our area students receive from the Williston State College Foundation."
As WSC sees an increase in buildings, programs, and students, they look forward to meeting the needs of the exploding population in the Bakken area.
