WILLISTON, N.D. – Williston State College (WSC) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $125,000 grant from the Otto Bremer Trust. This generous grant will provide critical capital support for the construction of WSC’s new Healthcare Training Facility, a state-of-the-art center that will enhance healthcare education in the region.

The new facility is part of Williston State College’s mission to expand its healthcare programs, including nursing, radiologic technology, and surgical technology, while introducing behavioral health and addiction studies in partnership with the University of North Dakota and Minot State University. With regional demand for healthcare professionals growing rapidly, this new facility will serve as a vital resource for training future healthcare workers.

Dr. Bernell Hirning, President of Williston State College, expressed his gratitude for the support, stating, "This grant from the Otto Bremer Trust is a significant investment in the future of healthcare education in our region. The facility will not only help us train the next generation of healthcare professionals but also address the critical need for skilled workers in North Dakota. We are grateful for the trust’s commitment to improving lives and strengthening communities."
