WSC honor society hosting Easter egg hunt for the community

WILLISTON, N.D. - Hop on down to the WSC campus on Thursday, April 17th for some Easter fun!

The WSC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society is hosting an Easter egg hunt for area children on Thursday, April 17th. Families are invited to the main drive of the campus from 3 - 5 p.m. to search for colorful eggs packed with treats, and there have been rumors of possible Easter Bunny sightings in the area!

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an international honor society that "encourages scholarship among two-year college students." Students in PTK are encouraged to take on leadership roles in creating events for the community to enjoy. One of these students, D.J. Weismann, is organizing the upcoming Easter egg hunt.

"We want to have a fun Easter event for the younger ones in the community," he says. Weismann is an honor student at WSC who will be transferring to Valley City State University this coming fall.

For more information on the PTK Easter Egg Hunt, contact D.J. Weismann at 701.260.2879. For other information regarding Williston State, visit www.willistonstate.edu, call 1.888.863.9455, or stop by 1410 University Avenue, Williston, ND.
