WILLISTON, N.D. - MODE Williston will donate 20% of its sales back to the Williston State College Relay For Life team, Educating for A Cure, if shoppers remember to mention WSC's Relay team when checking out with their purchases between February 26 and March 4, 2017.
Kim Wenko, MODE's co-owner approached Caitlin Pallai, WSC's Relay for Life Team Captain about being part of its Organization of the Week program late last month.
"I took the idea back to the group and we all agreed it would be a great way to partner with a local business and an easy way to raise money for Relay," stated Pallai. "We've always held certain fundraisers in the past like Crocktoberfest [a crock-pot fundraiser for WSC staff and faculty], but this year we wanted to add to that list and see what other events we could put together."
Located downtown in the Renaissance on Main building at 125 Main Street, MODE selects two organizations a month to participate in the Organization of the Week program.
"MODE loves to give back to the community and that's one of the reasons we do Organization of the Week," stated Wenko. "We are locally owned and it's a way we can give back to those that support us."
If you are unable to visit MODE between February 26 and March 4 but would like to donate to WSC's Relay for Life team, please contact Caitlin Pallai at 701.774.4526.
