Posted: Feb 05 2024

Williston, ND – TrainND Foundation is proud to announce the approval of funding for 16 scholarships, each valued at $1,000, aimed at supporting high school and graduating high school students in pursuing Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) education.  These scholarships are a testament to the foundation's commitment to fostering the growth of aspiring healthcare professionals in the local community.

In alignment with this initiative, TrainND Northwest will be hosting a dynamic summer Fast-Track CNA program.  The program provides a unique opportunity for students to accelerate their CNA education, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in the healthcare industry.  By investing in the education and development of these students, TrainND Foundation aims to contribute to the enhancement of healthcare services in the region and empower the next generation of compassionate and qualified healthcare professionals.  “These scholarships are an investment in the healers of tomorrow.”  said Dubi Cummings, TrainND Foundation board chair.  “The impact of these dollars will continue to serve our region for years to come.”

TrainND Foundation believes that by providing financial support and educational opportunities, it can make a lasting impact on the lives of these students and, in turn, strengthen the overall healthcare landscape in the community.  “TrainND Northwest has been so fortunate to have many community partners invest and believe in our mission ‘to deliver the highest quality of diverse safety, technical and professional training for an evolving workforce,’” said Jennifer Nebeker, TrainND Northwest Office Manager and Technical Program Coordinator.  “Because of the donations to the TrainND Foundation we can provide life changing scholarships to students, that will provide high quality health care to a community who has given so much to TrainND Northwest.
