Posted: Aug 08 2016

WILLISTON, N.D. - Women in Leadership (WiL) will return to the WSC campus (The Well) for its third annual Expo on Thursday, October 13, 2016.

The Wil-Expo provides a forum for women in local communities to connect, develop professionally, share meaningful experiences, and inspire each other to achieve both their personal and professional goals.

At the Expo, women can hear engaging speakers and participate in interactive workshops and thoughtful discussion groups which will encourage growth in themselves, and growth they can share with family, friends, colleagues, and the community.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. Local and regional speakers with a passion for leadership will speak on such topics as Leadership with Purpose, Communication in the Workplace, Failure and Resiliency, Female Expectations, Goals for Success, health, and much more. Speakers include Wendy Gendreau, Chrissy Hollerman, Karissa Kjos, Kylie Oversen, and Marti Volz.

Breakout sessions will continue throughout the day. Participating businesses will have informational booths. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

The event will conclude that evening with a hors d'oeuvre and wine networking social. The event promises to be an inspirational experience for local area women.

"Our goal for the event is to provide female leaders the tools and knowledge to continue to lead within their communities and grow both professionally and emotionally," said Shanna Curlin, Coordinator of the Wil-Expo.

Tickets for both the lunch and the expo are available at www.willistonstate.edu/trainnd.
Tickets can be purchased for $59. In addition, sponsorship opportunities are still available.

We want to thank the following sponsors for their support: 26th Street Liquor, Cardno, Image Printing, KLE Construction, Neset Consulting, The Shopper, and Williston Convention and Visitors Bureau.
