Teton Athletics hosts Glow in the Park fun run/walk

Williston, N.D., April 8th__After their success with other fun runs, Teton Athletics is collaborating with Williston's Band Day committee to host a neon-themed fun run/walk following the popular Prelude Concert & Supper, Friday May 8th. "Glow in the Park will be a great opportunity for the Teton athletes to get out in the community and help raise money for the programs," explained Megan Theis, Glow in the Park Coordinator and Teton Head Volleyball Coach. "The Band Day committee works very hard to honor the heritage of the original festival while incorporating fresh ideas into this 84 year-old event." Sabrina Ramey, Williston CVB agreed, "This is a great addition to Band Day."
Glow in the Park is for people of all ages and fitness levels to get active supporting Teton Athletics. Participants can run or walk the 5K that starts at the Fairgrounds and continues through Spring Lake Park. The Prelude Concert & Supper starts at 6 pm followed by a 7 pm dinner. Race check-in will begin at the fairgrounds at 8 pm where participants can pick up their Teton Athletics' Glow in the Park, glow-in-the-dark shirt and glow bands. The race will start around 9 pm (or after sundown) to make sure all runners and walkers will glow!
Participants should sign up before April 30th to receive the discounted registration fee of $25. After May 1st the fee will increase to $30. All money will go to support Teton Athletics and scholarships for student athletes. Registration is located on the Williston State College Teton Athletic page, www.wsctetons.com.
