Safety seminars to be held at Williston State College, free and open to public
WILLISTON, N.D. - Williston State College will be hosting "Hooked on Safety," presented by certified speaking professional, Billy Robbins and will run on April 8th at 2pm, and 9th & 10th at 7pm.
The presentation is a "unique, behavioral-based, fast-paced, highly motivational safety presentation that will not only change the attitudes of all who attend, it will change the way people think about safety," according to Robbins' website. http://www.hookedonsafety.com/
The focus is to create a safety attitude in all attendees, have people take responsibility for their own well-being, create positive interaction within the workforce, and convince all attendees that an accident-free workplace can be achieved.
WSC previously hosted "Hooked on Safety" last December. The event was so well-received and attended that local oil companies asked for its return. "We held a total of three sessions over the course of two days and we had somewhere between 600-700 attendees," said WSC Conference Services Coordinator, Shanna Curlin.
All three sessions are free and open to the public with general admission seating and will be held in The Well on WSC's campus. "This event is a wonderful professional development opportunity for everyone," says Curlin. "I hope people are able to attend."
