Williston, ND - Williston State College is pleased to announce and invite the community to join us in honoring Polly Vinger, a true champion of the Tetons family, as they dedicate The Well Concession Stand to her. on Wednesday, January 31st. Polly has been an integral part of the Teton Athletics community for over two decades. She has served with unwavering commitment and dedication in supporting the WSC Men's and Women's Tetons.
Vinger ran concessions for Williston State College from when The Well was built in 2003 until the end of the 2021-2022 season. Her hard work surpassed the standard basketball and volleyball games and included home hockey games when it was added in 2010. Vinger tracked the revenue of each event, comparing each year and celebrating when records were broken. WSC is honored to dedicate the concession stand to her, which follows her induction into the Teton Booster Club Hall of Fame.
"Polly's work helping our college was phenomenal," says Hunter Berg, Executive Director for the Williston State College Foundation. "She and her team were a joy to work with, always hard-working and enthusiastic. They were an important part of the Teton home game atmosphere, truly part of our college's team! It was very comforting as an A.D. to know that Polly and her crew would handle everything when it came to concessions. They were the best; we were spoiled for over twenty years!"
WSC expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Polly and her team, Western Cooperative Credit Union for sponsoring this game night, and Hagan Elementary for coming out to cheer on the Tetons. The National Trap Champions, WSC Teton Clay Target League, will host this special night, dubbed Camo Night, with silent auction baskets, 50/50 tickets, and more.
Fill the stands with love, support, and gratitude for everything Polly has done for our community on Wednesday, January 31st. WSC will be hosting NDSCS, with the Women's Tetons starting at 5:30 p.m., the Men’s Tetons starting at 730 p.m. Polly’s dedication ceremony will begin after the Men's Tetons warm up and before regulation gameplay.
