Posted: Mar 01 2017

WILLISTON, N.D. - The Great Northwest Education Cooperative will be hosting the 3rd annual Northwest Career Expo on March 15th at Williston State College, for 10th and 11th grade high school students in northwest North Dakota.

Schools attending this year include:  Alexander, Bowbells, Burke Central, Divide County, Grenora, New Town, Powers Lake, Ray, Stanley, Trenton, Trinity Christian, Watford City, Williston and Bainville, Montana.

With 35 sessions offered and just under 60 presenters, students will have an opportunity to learn about different career options, ask questions of the professionals, and gain a better understanding of the link between career goals and the education needed to achieve them.

"Providing exposure to our future work force through career awareness activities not only helps students match their skills, interests, and goals to potential employment options; it offers meaningful insights in the process of finding their calling.  Career Expo serves as a valuable tool in setting students up to find purpose, joy and success!" stated Charysse Everson, M.Ed., presenter at the Northwest Career Expo.
