New campus counselor, Colette James, to start at WSC this fall
WILLISTON, N.D. - Williston State College is pleased to announce the hire of Colette James as the new campus counselor. Coming highly qualified, James received her Bachelors with a concentration in English, Communications, and Psychology, a Masters in Mental Health Counseling, and has begun her Ph.D. work in Health Psychology.
James has a background in both school counseling and mental health counseling making this position very intriguing for her, "I have always wanted to work with students at the college level, this seemed like the perfect position for me."
At the beginning of the fall she will be located in the Health & Wellness Center but will move to the Student Success Center after Stevens Hall goes through its scheduled remodel. James is enthusiastic to see what the future at WSC brings her, "I am looking forward to being part of the WSC family and helping the students, faculty and staff. I am hoping to bring some assistance to the students who are in need of counseling and referral services."
