What did you do before WSC: I taught in Texas at Tarrant County Community College, NW campus.
Hometown: Baker, Fla.
Why did you choose to move to Williston: I wanted to move somewhere I could be an asset. Through watching the news and praying, I felt like Williston was the right place to be.
What is the biggest change you've seen in Williston: I've only been here a short time, but when people finally realized I was here for the long haul, they really warmed up and seemed to welcome me into the community.
What is the biggest change you've seen at WSC: Every day it feels like we are more and more connected. With all the media coverage and people coming here, the rest of the world now knows about Williston.
How do you relax: Knit and Crochet

What restaurant or retail store would you most like to see come to Williston: Starbucks
What single thing would improve the quality of your life in Williston: Affordable housing, especially on a teacher's salary.
What is your top tip in dealing with change in Williston: Roll with it. We're not a little town any more. We're becoming a city.
What is the biggest change you see coming to WSC: Upcoming renovations like the front parking lot and new buildings like a possible future Arts Center.
