Williston State College is proud to announce the appointment of Jolyssa Marquart as the interim head coach for the women's volleyball team. A Williston native and Teton Volleyball alumni, Jolyssa brings a wealth of experience and passion to her new role.

Jolyssa has been an integral part of the Teton coaching staff for the past two years. During her time as a player at WSC, she achieved remarkable success, ranking 2nd place for digs and digs per set in the Mon-Dak conference. She graduated from WSC with an Associate of Science degree and continued her student-athlete career at Bethany College in Kansas, where she played as a defensive specialist/libero (DS/L) in the NAIA (KCAC) league in 2021.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Jolyssa stated, "I am really excited and grateful to be taking the position as interim head coach. This upcoming team has a lot of talent and I’m eager to see what this season will hold for the Tetons. My goal for this season is to expand on the values Coach Muder and I shared with the team last year. The values include a healthy/positive mindset and increasing their volleyball IQ. I can’t wait to share my knowledge and passion for the game with the 2024-2025 Teton volleyball team!"
