WILLISTON, N.D. - In its fifth year, Williston State College's honor society, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) will host its ever-popular Easter Egg Hunt, April 11 on the campus' front drive.
Children up to grade three are welcome to participate in arts and crafts and meet the Easter bunny as they search for eggs.
Different from years past, PTK has decided to have different start times for the Easter Egg hunt, one for children under 4 that will begin at 4:00 p.m. and another for children 5 years old and up beginning at 4:30 p.m.
It is recommended to dress appropriately for North Dakota weather. Arts and crafts, activities and meeting the Easter Bunny will run from 4:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. but children must be accompanied by an adult.
"We want families to come and have a good time and hopefully enjoy the nice weather," stated Maren Furuseth, PTK Advisor. "The students love getting involved with the community and enjoy participating in activities with the kids!"
PTK was founded in 1918 for students with excellent academic standings who attend two-year schools. Williston State College's PTK was formed in 1990 with Loren Haugen and Wanda Meyer as co-advisors.
