WILLISTON, N.D. - WSC's Relay for Life Team is hosting its second event this year with Wrap for Relay, a holiday gift-wrapping fundraiser.
After a successful Wrap for Relay internal fundraiser on December 9 for WSC faculty and staff, the Relay team decided to open the event to the public.
"Our first Wrap for Relay raised $59. It may not seem like a lot, but every dollar counts, and it's always great to see staff and faculty come and show their support at our fundraising events," said Caitlin Pallai, WSC Relay For Life Team Captain. "We still have some supplies and, knowing we can raise more, we will have a second Wrap for Relay. With Christmas right around the corner, there is always last minute shopping and wrapping, so we figured we could help!"
Community members are encouraged to drop off holiday gifts for WSC's Relay team to wrap in exchange for a donation to Relay For Life on Monday, December 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Teton Grill (Stevens Hall).
For the past two years, WSC has hosted the annual Upper Missouri Relay For Life. The tradition will continue this year as survivors, supporters, and donors will walk WSC's Front Drive on Saturday, July 29, 2017.
