WILLISTON STATE COLLEGE ANNOUNCES FALL 2023 PRESIDENT’S AND DEAN’S LISTS STUDENTS
WILLISTON, N.D. – Williston State College is thrilled to announce the extraordinary achievements of its students on the President's and Dean's Lists for the Fall 2023 semester. These lists recognize the unwavering dedication and commitment of students who have excelled academically.
“It is a great honor for the Office of the President at WSC to proudly recognize the hard work that our students and student/athletes have put into their studies for the fall semester,” says Dr. Bernell Hirning, President of Williston State College. “It is this hard work that will reward our students in their future whether they jump straight into the job market or transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree.”
The President's List acknowledges students who have earned a 3.8 or higher GPA while completing at least 12 credit hours during the semester, while the Dean's List recognizes students who have earned a GPA between 3.5 and 3.79 while completing at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Being on either list also makes students eligible to become part of WSC's Alpha Rho Iota Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), a National Honor Society.
This semester, 67 students have earned a spot on the President's List, and 76 students have earned a spot on the Dean's List. Williston State College congratulates these students on their outstanding achievements and encourages them to continue striving for excellence in all their future endeavors.
