WILLISTON, N.D. -In its second consecutive record-breaking Fall semester, Williston State College's honor students are on a rise as well as its opening day numbers.
Of the 1,039 students enrolled in Fall 2016, 152 were named to the President's Honor Roll and the Dean's List.
Students who have earned a 3.8 grade point average (GPA) or higher while enrolled in twelve or more credits for the Fall 2016 semester are named to the President's Honor Roll.
Students who have earned a 3.5-3.79 GPA while enrolled in twelve or more credits for the semester are named to the Dean's List.
Being part of this distinguished group also makes each student eligible to be part of WSC's Alpha Rho Iota Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), a national honor society. To conserve eligibility, each student must maintain twelve credit hours per semester and keep an average of 3.30 GPA while attending WSC.
January 10, 2017 (first day of classes) numbers reflect a 5.91% increase from Spring 2016 to Spring 2017. Included in the change are headcount, full-time Equivalent (FTE) and credit hours.
Congratulations, WSC Fall 2016 Dean and President List Recipients:
