WILLISTON, N.D. - Williston State College is offering its first College Readiness Day of 2016 to assist incoming WSC students and their parents through the enrollment process on Sunday, April 24 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
WSC Student Affairs, including Financial Aid and Enrollment Services, will be located in Stevens Hall 114 to help future students complete their WSC application for admission, FAFSA, and WSC scholarship applications.
After a handful of successful College Readiness Days last year, several families remarked on how smoothly the process went with the help of WSC and its knowledgeable staff.
"Navigating the college admission process can seem intimidating at times, particularly for students who have not previously attended college," stated Leah Windnagle, WSC Director for Enrollment Services.
"Our department stresses the importance of these College Readiness Days because it takes the weight of uncertainty off the families and ensures that the applications are completed correctly and on time."
College Readiness Day is free and WSC welcomes all incoming WSC students to attend. Students under the Williams County Graduate Scholarship and the Regional County Scholarship are also welcome to come and ask any questions they might have regarding their application and FAFSA.
Please bring your 2015 tax return if you would like assistance with your FAFSA.
