Federal Work Study
Federal Work Study (FWS) may be available to you as a student if you demonstrate financial need through your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). A work study award indicates that you are eligible to seek FWS employment; however, it is not a guarantee of a job. The average FWS award is $3,000 per academic year. FWS awards are not applied to a student account, but are paid in a bi-monthly pay check to students as they work hours in a FWS position.
Jobs span across the entire campus and to some eligible off-campus employers as well. Eligible students may work 5-15 hours per week and earn up to $15/hour.
All currently available student employment positions are posted on our website. Some position titles indicate "Federal Work Study Only". Theses positions are only available to students with an accepted FWS award.
