BISMARCK, N.D. - The North Dakota University System's next Envision 2030 Pillar discussion will take place Wednesday.

Focusing on Energy, the Pillar talk will take place at Williston State College's Western Star Building in Room 138. Distance options such as teleconferencing and Interactive Video Network lines have been added for the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Central Time.

Findings from the Envision 2030 breakout sessions held in May will be discussed at length to examine strategies for reaching goals identified so far. They included embracing an 'all-of-the-above' strategy in energy-related topics; expanding on longer-lived programs supplemented by recent growth in petroleum development, energy engineering, robotics automation, water and wastewater and geomatics; and increasing the number of students in technical trades.
