WSC will host a juried Art Show at the James Memorial Arts Center (Gallery One) from Dec. 1, 2025 to Jan. 1, 2026, with a public reception on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2:00–3:30 p.m.
Williston State College (WSC) is proud to announce its upcoming Art Show at the James Memorial Arts Center, a juried exhibition highlighting the creative talents of WSC students, faculty, and staff. The show will be on display in Gallery One from December 1, 2025, through January 1, 2026, with a public reception on Sunday, December 7, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
The exhibition will run concurrently with the Williston High School art show, which will be featured in Gallery Two, creating a dynamic showcase of local artistic expression across all age groups and disciplines.
“This show is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diverse creativity within our college community. Our students, faculty, and staff bring unique perspectives to their work—whether through painting, sculpture, photography, or textiles. Exhibiting alongside the high school show also builds a creative bridge between WSC and the next generation of artists in Williston.”
All members of the WSC community—students, faculty, and staff—are encouraged to submit their artwork for consideration. Each participant may submit up to three pieces across any medium, including 2D, 3D, and textile works. Due to limited gallery space, approximately 30–40 pieces will be selected for display.
Artwork submissions must be ready to hang or display by Friday, November 21, and can be dropped off at the WSC Art Classroom. Artists are asked to complete a brief submission form including their name, title, email, and whether the piece is for sale.
Questions regarding submissions or exhibition details can be directed to james.skinner@ndus.edu. The community is invited to attend the December 7 reception to meet the artists, explore the collection, and celebrate the creativity that makes Williston State College truly unique.
