Baseball: MonDak Champions
Teton Baseball (35-11 overall, 20-4 MonDak) ended the regular season exactly how champions should — on top. Williston State clinched the MonDak Conference Regular Season title this weekend, taking three out of four games against North Dakota State College of Science and showing why they’ve been a team to watch all year.
The Tetons didn’t just win — they dominated from the mound. Matt Thompson set the tone early with a complete-game gem in the series opener. Cameron Fenn followed with a shutout in Game 3, needing just 76 pitches to silence the Wildcats. And in the finale, Collin Cobb delivered a seven-inning shutout of his own.
Now, the Tetons aren’t just celebrating — they’re gearing up. Williston State will host the No. 6 seed in a best-of-three postseason series starting Saturday at Rabon Field. A series win will punch their ticket to the Region Tournament, and the Tetons aren’t planning on slowing down anytime soon. Game times and postseason updates will be announced later this week.
Softball: Hungry for an Upset
Teton Softball (19-25 overall, 10-14 MonDak) battled their way through the regular season and earned the No. 5 seed heading into the Region 13 Tournament. After a tough final series against North Dakota State College of Science, Williston State is ready to flip the script and make some noise in the postseason.
The Tetons will open tournament play against Bismarck State College at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday in Glendive, Montana. It’s a matchup with all the makings of a classic — close games during the regular season, veteran leadership on both sides, and everything on the line.
Offensively, WSC has shown flashes of explosive potential throughout the season, and with solid pitching backing them up, they have the tools to be dangerous. The postseason is a fresh start — and the Tetons are stepping into it with something to prove.
