Frontier Hall is the primary dormitory on the Williston State College campus. The building was opened during the fall 2011 school year and provides co-ed dormitory-style housing. The building stands three stories and can house up to 170 students in four bedroom suites. Each suite has modern furnishings and the building has wireless internet, cable TV, and on-site laundry facilities.

Every floor  has a common area for students to use at anytime. The common area on third floor has a full kitchen, and the common area on the first floor has a fire place. All common areas have high top tables and TVs for student use.

Frontier Hall is also the home of the "Livdahl Lounge", the newest student common area on campus. The lounge has state of the art desktops for homework and an onsite printer/copier for student use. There are also couches and 47" televisions ready to meet the students need to relax, plus vending machines providing a variety of food and drinks.
