Pam Rasmussen assumed the position of TREND/TAACCCT Grant Director and Career Navigator at Williston State College on November 2, 2015.
Ms. Rasmussen has held various administrative positions in Montana and Idaho community banking since 1989. After contributions supporting operations and IT at a growing Stockman Bank, Ms. Rasmussen became the Operations Manager for a small start-up financial institution, Magic Valley Bank, in southern Idaho in 1997. She later served these same two institutions in mid-management and senior management roles in administrative and operations oversight roles.
When Magic Valley Bank was acquired in 2004 by Intermountain Community Bancorp Ms. Rasmussen relocated to northern Idaho to become EVP/COO - CAO of a 19 location, 3-state financial institution. Until June of 2015 Ms. Rasmussen managed numerous administrative departments and corporate projects for the bank. Major initiatives accomplished during Ms. Rasmussen's tenure included defining and developing corporate infrastructure to meet cyclical demands, accomplishing complex system conversions, developing and improving leadership and staff development programs, and implementing corporate efficiency and cost reduction projects. Ms. Rasmussen was accountable for ongoing regulatory compliance for the institution and routinely involved in strategic planning and all aspects of corporate management. Developing a strong corporate culture and maintaining constructive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders was a continual focus for the bank's leadership team.
Ms. Rasmussen's undergraduate degree is in music from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, MN. She holds an MBA from Western Governor's University, completed graduate banking school at University of Colorado, Boulder and has the HRCI SPHR senior level HR certification.
