Executive Cabinet

The following executive officers make up WSC's Executive Cabinet.

DAN ARTAMENKO, ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
Mr. Artamenko has been the Director of Athletics since 2014. Prior to joining the College he was Eligibility and Academic Coordinator at Blinn College.  He has held positions with the NJCAA, USA Wrestling, and the Denver Nuggets. He has earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado in 2011; as well as a Bachelor of Science, Sports Management in 2009 from Lubbock Christian University.

KAYLYN BONDY, VICE PRESIDENT FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS
Kaylyn Bondy joined Williston State College in the summer of 2011.  Prior to her employment at WSC, she was the director of an international ESL school and has eight years experience teaching English as a Second Language.  She earned her Master II from the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises France and her MBA from the University of St. Thomas. She is currently pursuing on her PhD in Higher Education.

JOHN MILLER, Ph.D., PRESIDENT
Dr. Miller joined Williston State College in June, 2015 as Vice-President for Academic Affairs. He has now been a career educator for over thirty years, with teaching and administrative experience spanning both K-12 and post-secondary education. Dr. Miller received his Bachelor and Doctoral Degrees from the University of Idaho, and holds teaching and administrative credentials for K-12 education in Idaho and North Dakota. Prior to his appointment at WSC, Dr. Miller worked as a secondary teacher and administrator, Director of Operations in a K-12 school system, and as an Instructional Dean for Extended Studies at the College of Southern Idaho. Further, he contributed to the development and administration of the Idaho broadband system, connecting high school and the college/university partners for the delivery of dual credit.

KEITH OLSON, DIRECTOR, SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Mr. Olson has been Director, SBDC since 2003.  Prior to joining the College, he was CEO of Bushel 42 Pasta Company. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a minor in Coaching and Driver's education from the University of North Dakota in 1987.

TERRY OLSON, VICE PRESIDENT FOR COLLEGE ADVANCEMENT
Terry has held his current position since April, 2009. He has been employed by Williston State College since 1982 where he was the Head Basketball Coach, Athletic Director, and Instructor. Prior to working at WSC, Terry taught at Harvey Public Schools in North Dakota from 1981-1982. Currently he is also the Executive Director of the Williston State Foundation. He earned a Masters of Education in Professional Development with an emphasis in Athletic Administration in 1981 from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater and a Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State University in 1978.

PAM RASMUSSEN, REGIONAL DIRECTOR FOR TECHNICAL PROGRAMS AND TRAINING
Rasmussen took over as director of the TREND (Training for Regional Energy in North Dakota) Grant at WSC in late 2015. Since that time Pam has worked closely with the WSC's Career and Technical (CTE) Education programs including Petroleum, Diesel, Welding, IT and Business programs. In addition to grant administration, Rasmussen has worked with industry advisory boards, curriculum development and student advisement, and in general supported whatever is necessary to move programs forward. Recently, Rasmussen helped to secure a National Science Foundation grant for the Petroleum program.  Pam Rasmussen was named the Regional Director for Technical Programs and Training at TrainND as of July 1, 2018. Rasmussen earned her BA at Gustavus Adolphus College, MBA at Western Governors University, completed the Colorado School of Banking, and holds two senior HR certifications.

MICHELLE REMUS, DIRECTOR FOR HUMAN RESOURCES
Michelle Remus has been with Williston State College since August, 2009. Michelle first served as the  Executive Assistant to the President before becoming the Director for Human Resources in January 2010. Prior to joining WSC, Michelle worked at IMG, one of the world's largest sports marketing agencies, in Cleveland, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management as well as in Business Administration.

CLAY SPONABLE, DIRECTOR OF CAMPUS SERVICES
Clay Sponable joined WSC in August 2015. Prior to WSC, Clay was a Transportation Instructor for 4 years at Vatterott Career College. He first served at WSC as a Transportation Instructor. He is now currently the Director of Campus Services. Clay has his Associates of Science from Nashville Auto Diesel College and is currently working on his Bachelors in Business Management at Minot State University. He is currently ASE Master Certified in Automotive and Diesel Technology, NIMS Certified in maintenance operations and has his certification for facility controls through Johnson Controls.

JENNIFER WOLF, DIRECTOR FOR CREATIVE SERVICES
Jenny Wolf has worked in the Marketing Department as the Creative Director since 2014. Jenny started at Williston State College in 2010 as the graphic designer for the school. Jenny has received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of North Dakota, and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute in Minneapolis. Prior to joining the WSC Staff, Jenny worked at a print shop and awards company.

KIM WRAY, VICE PRESIDENT FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Kim Wray has been in education for over twenty-four years, with both teaching and administration experience. In September of 2015, Kim became the Director for Extended Learning at Williston State College and on July 1, 2018 was appointed the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Prior to coming to Williston State College, Kim worked as both a teacher and the Athletic Director in Twin Falls Idaho. In addition, Kim also teaches online for the Idaho Digital Learning Academy.  Kim was raised in Havre, MT, went to college at Montana State University in Bozeman, and then moved to Southern Idaho to begin her educational career. Kim worked for three school districts in southern Idaho as a teacher and a coach before taking on the Athletic Director Duties at Canyon Ridge High School in Twin Falls.  Kim recently completed her master's degree from Boise State University.

RILEY YADON, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Riley has held his position since July 2018. Prior to his employment at WSC, he was the Project Manager/Lead Implementer designing accounting software systems specific to the Oil and Gas Industry.He has held the position of CFO for 4 years and has been an accountant for 11 years with positions ranging from a Big 4 Accounting firm to managing a tax department at a fortune 500 company.  He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and obtained his Masters of Accountancy from Kansas State University in 2007.  He served in the US Marines and the US Army and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
